Uncorked! in NYC
Just back from a beautiful weekend in Manhattan! I was stoked to participate in a “blind tasting” competition at Del Posto. And, while there was a room full of talent, I was honored to be one of three Master Sommeliers and Wine Directors (current and former) from The Little Nell participating! I am happy to report that Bobby Stuckey (owner of Frasca in Boulder) placed 2nd, I tied for 3rd and Richard Betts (partner of Betts & Scholl wine) tied for 5th!

Life as a Sommelier…Uncorked!
Following the tasting, we all went out for a celebratory lunch that segued into an early dinner, before returning to Del Posto for a late-night dinner. There we were, each seated at a table with 5 couples, walking them through a blind tasting AND a food and wine paired meal. What a wonderful way to end the evening!
It’s always great to be in NYC, but I am looking forward to some much deserved R&R!
